Enrollment Periods

The CTI induction program offers two-enrollment periods to candidates to provide high quality mentoring support to new teachers. Our traditional enrollment period is closely aligned to most agency’s academic calendars when most new teachers start their teaching assignments. Our mid-year enrollment is intended for new teachers that are late-hires to their agencies and need to be connected with a mentor as soon as possible for success in their teaching assignment.

Traditional

  • Candidates may enroll August 3rd – October 31st .
  • The program year is August 3rd – June 30th .
  • Induction requires active engagement in the mentoring process for the enrolled year. Candidates must be in an active teaching assignment, no less than 75% of the school year and have a minimum of 28 weeks of reflective coach support to be eligible for completion credit for a full year of induction.
  • The clear credential recommendation process, for candidates who have completed all requirements, will begin after May 1st for this enrollment period.

Mid-Year

  • Candidates may enroll November1st – February 28th.
  • The program year consists of two semesters. January 1st of the enrollment year through December 31st of the following school year.

  • Candidates may begin engaging in induction activities right away after the November 1st enrollment date, or they may begin engaging in induction activities upon returning from winter break.
  • Induction requires active engagement in the mentoring process for the enrolled semester.
