CTC Appeal Information
From the Commission
Individuals may apply for an extension up to one year prior to a credential’s expiration date or any time after it has expired.
A credential may lapse without penalty, and can remain dormant until the individual has the need to reactive it for employment.
Appeals are not granted if an applicant cannot show good cause, and financial hardship is not considered a valid reason for an appeal.
If you need any assistance with Extension Appeals, please contact Sylvia Loera at sloera@rcoe.us.
This CTC leaflet provides good cause reasons for appealing for an extension.
The Extension Chart can be used to determine appeal options and eligibility.
